Convergent are a document and information management consultancy with bold ambition. Our mission is to dissolve the boundaries of information flow and bring an end to content chaos.
We challenge the short-term thinking and off-the-shelf products proffered to businesses to solve information, document control and automation problems. We choose to solve with fresh thinking and a new approach that lets information flow unhindered throughout your entire organisation.
Our deep experience leads us to a simple truth – you won’t solve systemic problems with off-the-shelf products. We out-think problems and design beyond the solution. We analyse and diagnose the root cause so we can navigate a path through and beyond it.

Leadership Team
Niall McConnell
Managing Director
Niall has spent almost 25 years working in tech and co-founded Convergent with Nik Healy in 2014. Prior to Convergent Niall worked in Business Analyst, Project Management and Commercial roles in Fintech companies.
Niall heads up the Convergent business operation and oversees the commercial, finance and marketing functions as well as supporting the Solutions and Technical Teams.
Away from Convergent, Niall enjoys Crossfit, partaking in cycling sportives, traveling with his family and supporting Man Utd (for his sins!), Leinster and Ireland.
Nik Healy
Solutions Director
Nik is the co-founder of Convergent having previously held Management Consulting roles in Ireland and Canada. Nik leads the Solutions Team at Convergent and is widely regarded as one of Irelands leading document & information management experts. Nik also regularly speaks at Irish and international conferences.
In his spare time Nik enjoys the speed, excitement and sheer madness of trundling down hills on his mountain bike or skis! He also enjoys more relaxing pastimes such as playing the piano and coaching his kids at their local GAA club, Naomh Olaf.
Martin Bassett-Rhodes
Technical Director
Martin heads up the technical and solution support team at Convergent. Having joined Convergent at the very early stages of its existence, Martin and his team work closely with the Solutions Team to deliver and support the technical aspects of client solutions.
Martin fills his free time playing drums and percussion in his local band participating in a variety of gigs and contests. He also enjoys arranging and composing music. He’s also been known to pick up a bass guitar from time to time as well.
Gillian Doyle
Programme Director
Gillian has almost 25-years experience in project delivery across diverse sectors such as Finance, Banking, and Global Pharma. She brings a fresh, structured approach to our project management processes.
Gillian oversees all our projects to ensure they are completed within budget and on time. She implements the best in class practices across the board, ensuring efficient use of resources and capacity planning. Gillian is all about planning smart, managing resources wisely, and introducing project management methods that make a real difference to our clients.
In her spare time, Gillian enjoys hiking, swimming & rebounding (trampoline fitness!!). She also coaches her three daughters in football and camogie at their local GAA club, Naomh Olaf.
